What is Phyx?

Phyx (pronounced “Fix”) is a smart safe for your stuff! It's the only application you’ll need to store, track and register all your purchases.

 

Is Phyx free?

Yes, Phyx is free! It’s free to download and use. We've made it free because we want to encourage more people and more businesses to go paperless so we can create a real positive environmental impact. 

 

How does it work?

Use Phyx to store, track or register your purchases. Follow 3 simple steps - snap, scan, save, to upload your product and purchase information and voila - your item is now stored safely in your account in the cloud.

 

What is product or warranty registration and why should I register my purchase?

Registering your product with the product manufacturer or distributor in your country helps them to better serve you when you need to make a claim. Once registered, your purchase information will be stored safely in your account. Say goodbye to receipts and warranty cards. Making a claim is now as simple as calling customer support using Phyx.

 

Must I pay to store or register my items?

Phyx is free to use so you don’t have to pay anything to store or register your items.

 

Is there a limit to the number of items I can store or register?

Store or register as many as items as you like. There is no limit.

 

Why can I only store and not register all my items?

We are working hard to invite more brands to join Phyx so please bear with us. Just store your items for now and we'll notify you once the brands come on board and registration becomes available.

 

When are you going to release Phyx Windows Phone, Blackberry, Nokia, etc?

We will not be developing Phyx for Windows Phone, Blackberry, Nokia and others for now. We will be releasing a web version soon which will allow you to log into your account via any web browser.

How will I know if my item is registered?

After you have submit your item for product or warranty registration, you will receive a confirmation email from us with details of your registration. A yellow Phyx rosette will also appear on the top right-hand corner of the item in your Phyx mobile app.

 

What happens when my stored item becomes available for registration?

When a new brand joins the Phyx family and your item becomes eligible for registration, we will notify you via mobile and email. Simply click on your item and you will now see a “Send” button. Click on the "Send" button and your item will be submitted for warranty registration.

 

Will Phyx remind me if my warranty anniversary is coming up?

Yes! When your warranty anniversary is approaching, Phyx will send you a reminder via push notification on your smartphone. You can set your warranty anniversary reminder to 7, 14 , 30 or 60 days via "Settings" when you edit your profile. 

 

How can I access Phyx if I don’t have a smartphone?

We are currently working the web version of Phyx to be made available on the phyxapp.com website. Once available, you will be able to access your account on any device via any web browser. Stay tuned!

 

How can I transfer all my items to my new smartphone?

All your stored items, purchase and account information are stored securely in the cloud. To access all your items using your new smartphone, simply download the Phyx mobile app, log in using the same email or facebook id and you will be able to see all the data you previously stored in your account.
